For Your Viewing Pleasure: The Tim Nader Campaign Commercial

SWC Governing Board candidate Tim Nader - the former mayor of Chula Vista and the wildly popular candidate of choice for teachers and students both - has a new campaign commercial out. If you're one of those folks who tends to avoid election-time TV commercials, now's your chance.

Nader, who is competing against a pair of politicians-in-training and the Seat 5 incumbent now famous for napping his way through board meetings, is the only serious contender for the seat. Jorge Dominguez was already rejected by the city of Chula Vista* when he ran for mayor last election cycle. Jaime Mercado has managed to avoid any and all public events and is nothing but a name to most folks in the district. Bud McLeroy shows up for events, but considers it a point of pride that he arrives unprepared and unable to answer any questions requiring facts instead of rhetoric. Neither Mercado nor McLeroy seem to even be running at this point.

*That's polite-speak for "Had his butt handed to him by the people of Chula Vista."
